Square has let us know this incident has been resolved. Interac debit transactions should now be processing normally on the Square Terminal.

Square is currently seeing a spike in Interac (debit) cards declining, and are actively working to fix it. For now, they suggest your clients use a different type of card, if they have one available. More information is available at https://ca.issquareup.com/
This does not affect Interac payments on the Jane Payments Terminal.
